Our Story

Our idea for Vessel came about one sunny October afternoon when I was at a playground with my daughter. I was texting CJ, looking for the latest update on one of his exciting business ventures that would undoubtedly impact the kingdom of God in profound and exciting ways. He had reached a stage in his business planning where it was becoming necessary to find other business-minded individuals to help him bring his vision to life. Because let’s face it, as much as we try to tackle everything in our business all by ourselves, sometimes we need a little help.

Yet there was a problem. It was easy to find people who were passionate about his idea…But it was hard to find people who were rooted in Christ, shared his faith, and were interested for the right reasons.

That’s when an idea popped into my head. “If only there was a platform where you could reach out to other Christian-based entrepreneurs to help you find the right people to assist you in your project.” I casually suggested. CJ pointed out that it was a pretty unique idea, and we realized it was an idea inspired by God. We recognized it as something God was calling us to bring to life, and we made a promise to do so.

Our idea for Vessel was born.

Quickly, we realized how exciting this concept was and how God’s hand was all over it. We quickly began brainstorming, planning, and expanding our ideas beyond what we initially conceptualized. We believe we are sitting on something extremely special that will have far-reaching implications within the Kingdom of God and, conversely, our very world. We have experienced our fair share of challenges on this journey so far, but we have also been blessed with open door after open door. Planning has made us so joyful and excited; it’s even made waking up at 5 a.m. to work on it nearly every day easy.
